Jay Mankita performs with Mike Morris, John Hughes, Rusty Boris, Graham Taylor, Barry Kornhauser, Dave Bell, and other talented musicians as the performing group, 'the Grooveniles'. Based on budget, location, scheduling, and audience, the Grooveniles perform as a duo, trio, or quartet. Most of Jay's 'Wild' concerts are performed solo, but when factors allow, he loves playing with the band!
'The 12 Days of Recess', the 'Halloween' show, and the 'Amazing TIme Travel Show' are Grooveniles duo shows, and 'Courage' and 'Eat Like A Rainbow' can be a solo show, or all the way up to a quartet.
The Grooveniles also play for non-educational events such as school dances and parties, camp socials, county fairs, etc... They have plenty of non-theme related songs and good-time music for these occasions!
